Muscat Hills Golf and Country Club unveils website
MUSCAT: Muscat Hills Golf and Country Club, Oman’s first grass golf course, has unveiled its new website at www.muscathills.com.
The website is hundred percent Omani-designed and implemented. Its multiple links provide immediate access to accurate, up-to-date information on Muscat Hills’ unique facilities including the golf and country club, the region’s sole turf academy, the golf academy, and availability of residential property. There is also a link to Oman’s Ministry of Tourism website at www.omantourism.gov.om. Additionally, visitors can quickly learn more about Muscat, and Oman – its people, culture and traditions.
Sports tourism, in particular golf tourism, is a focal area in contemporary Omani tourism marketing strategy. “As Oman’s premier grass golf course”, says Kathryn Ring, Customer Care Manager, “We are showcasing Oman and its bountiful offers to local and international tourists. We are thereby promoting the national goal of the pursuit of high-end tourism.” Ring has been the driving force behind developing this new website.
Within a few months, visitors to the Muscat Hills website can book golf lessons and tee times online, to play at the edge of Arabia, from the comfort of their own homes.
